“Talk To Lebanon” is a one day event on 6/14/20 where people from around the world will be able to call for FREE and talk with participating volunteers in Lebanon.
Each call is up to 5 minutes, and you’ll get a different person each time you call. You might speak with a student, then a business owner, then a grandmother, someone from Beirut, or Tripoli, or the South. It’ll be super fun and interesting.
You can talk about anything Lebanon related – social life, school, how the Lebanese are coping with COVID, food, politics, and more.
The free calls are via the CallThere iPhone app (it doesn’t use your phone number or calling minutes).
“Talk To Lebanon” is on Sunday 6/14, and we suggest familiarizing yourself with the calling app before Sunday:
- Download CallThere from the App Store
- There’s no registration or login, but when you first run CallThere, allow it to both use your “location” and to send you notifications (so it works well).
- Play with it by calling 001 in the app. That’ll connect you to a randomly selected user in the US.
- For technical support, call 0 in CallThere.
